I kind of started out my AA journey in a "what the hey" frame of mind
. It was one of the SR members that stated something to the effect "why not hit up some meetings for a few months while you figure things out?". Sure! Why not? It's been an incredible program for me.
I really admire your strength for reaching out to your counsellor, doctor, SR, AA. Takes courage! D
