Dunno! My last drinking binge wasn't pre-meditated--but I haven't had a drink since. Good luck on your road to recovery!

I do, however think that when a person gets beaten up enough --they can sometimes find the willingness to do anything--including recovery. It is often referred to as being "sick and tired of being sick and tired". That last outing wasn't fun--most of it was a blackout, plus I drove around to numerous places. Not smart, not safe, don't want to do it anymore.
