I was on heavy prescribed doses of virtually every opiate painkiller known to man for 10 months, from vicodin to morphine and several in between. I tried cutting down myself to quit and always crept back up to my saturation point. Then, I went to my doc, told him I needed his help getting off the pills and he helped me through a home detox regimen. That was a year ago and I haven't missed the evil little pills at all.
