my 2 cents. I am powerless over alcohol. God gives me the power I need to abstain, if i choose to accept it. How do I choose to accept gods grace? I pray daily for god to keep me sober and to help me grow closer to him.
So I guess I agree with both sides, if I choose to work a program, god keeps me sober.
