Trying to get sober again
I've been struggling with alcohol abuse for many years. I got sober for periods of time using a program similar to this. Lately I've been under tremendous stress and have gone from occasionally drinking, to daily drinking, to daily drinking with frequent binges. In addition, I've been abusing xanax and ativan. I don't know how to stop again. This is a tough road but I want to change this before something terrible happens to me or my family. So, I guess I'm just going to focus on not drinking tonight. My urges seem to hit hard in the late afternoon early evening.
