One year, a long time ago, when my youngest son was 14, he had an appendicitis attack on Xmas Eve. He has surgery, and as I was scheduled to work the next day, I was his Nurse. I found it funny that I was paid to take care of my own kid! He did get to come home later that Xmas day.
