Just make sure you really want to try one more time for YOURSELF and not just because you feel guilty and like you owe it to HIM. Why do you feel like all the work you've done is gone? Is it because you're trying again with X? that should be a red flag right there. If he is taking hope AWAY from you....I know you will do the right thing when you're ready.
