My Boyfriend is an Enabler! HELP!
My boyfriends sister is a drug addict. He constantly gives her money, drugs, and buys her things. He says that it is his way of keeping tabs on her and the only way she will keep him in her life. He wants to "protect" her. Well, she did cocaine on Thanksgiving and then 5 days later she calls and says that she wants a "drug free" date with him - without ME - and she wants to see a movie that she knows that he is really excited about. I think shes lying. I think she wants to get him alone to get money from him or to get him to buy her drugs. But he believes her and got mad at me for not being supportive of her. How do i break him of enabling her in this manner without pushing him away?
