One thing I do want to tell all of you,
Two weeks ago I did my third step in a very deep and meaningful way. I have experienced what I will describe as a subtle shift of consciousness. Since then I have been experiencing a peace and serenity that is difficult to describe. I also seem to have lost any compulsion to drink. I am actively working on my 4th step, and am meeting with my sponsor regularly.
I have the deep seated conviction that I never have to travel this road of pain again.
So, all I can do is encourage you to do the steps, for therein lies freedom.
I would be remiss if I did not attempt to pass on what I have found. I realize I know but a tiny bit, but I also know that it is available to everyone who wants it.
