Personal redemption
had a bit of personal redemption today (not from God, that came when i asked for help and turned my will over). i was on the sundeck of my gym and i ran into some girls from my HS. by age 23-24 i was considered a drug addict loser by people i went to HS with after being one of the more popular kids (how the mighty fall). today they were absolutely amazed by my appearence (19+ months of sobriety and intense physical excersie/nutrion will do that you). i try not to care what others think about me but it felt damn good. ive been dedicated to a massive fitness kick and my body has transformed completely and today did wonders for my self esteem. AA most importantly has heeled me internally/spiritually...but a great side effect has been the will granted to me to really get in shape. im reaching new ground everyday in this program in so many areas. thank you everyone for giving me a great life today.
