I've been spared a lot of these (because my best friend is too "hella cool" to talk to me anymore)... but here's a few that I got:
"Don't worry, I've got it under control"
"I sweartagod, I wasn't high when that happened"
"I'll call you right back, k?" ... (days, weeks, months,..)
"I don't know what's wrong, but I'm going to figure out why I'm acting like this. Please be patient with me" ... (hint: maybe it has something to do with all the drugs you're doing).
Ah, but all that was ages ago. I haven't heard from her in over a year. Turns out, the problem wasn't the drugs... it was ME. I wasn't supportive of her new lifestyle, apparently. Go figure. *sigh*
