I didn't plan on quiting... I drank a tun over the weekend (for me)... and a bunch the week before the weekend... then polished off a 12 pack... then went to my buddies... and watched the super bowl and took a 6 pack with me... he had a six pack + some when I got there...we finished off all the beer before I left... and I drove home thinking it was strange I never caught a buzz... felt like death warmed over the next morning... pretty shaky... decided at work that I didn't want to drink that night and I was going to a bar with friends to throw darts...
I had tried not to drink one night thing before and was never successful and thought I needed to do something more dramatic to put that line in the sand... so I went to an AA meeting... ever since I have been just not drinking today...
