Ten years ago, I would've felt utterly depressed reading these five things, true as they are (especially the first one). But now...having gone through so much stuff with addicts and addiction and recovery, they make perfect sense and they no longer hold any power over me.

2 years ago I would have tried with every ounce of umpf inside of me to change it all lol. I thank God I know now that I can't and some things you just have to let be.
