Hi Steph, you are doing great! Even people with 25 years sobriety who say the desire to drink has been removed for them are still always on guard against that first drink-I am talking of my sponsor here, he has a wedding to go to and doesnt want to go cos people will be drinking.
That doesnt mean every day has to be a battle and of course it gets easier over time but cured? No, we are in daily remission from a disease.
