I'm So Screwed!
I just got my credit report as part of fixing all the damage I did to my life as part of my recovery.
On it, is a freeze by the IRS for a debt claim totalling a little over $100,000 dollars.
No, that wasn't a typo, that said $100,000 dollars.
I think it's related to some stock accounts I ran through back a decade ago (my own, thank G-d!).
Does anyone have any idea who in the love of G-d I'd go to for advice on this? Is there any kind of NA related organization that might help me with this problem (obviously, my paying someone is an issue, I can't afford $100's of dollars for a lawyer right now!)
If I have to pay that kind of money to the IRS, I may as well solve the problem by moving to Mexico and changing my name to Pedro!
