I used to hear the words to "Don't Fence me In..."
Let me ride to the ridge where the west commences,
Gaze at the moon until I lose my senses..
Can't look at hobbles
and I can't stand fences!
Don't fence me in!
He used to corral my thinking and actions with words.. and after awhile I wouldn't know what to say or where to turn because everywhere there was a dang fence of words he made to stop me from...
doing..
thinking...
and being who I am.
It was like the same thing I used to see when I put a horse being weaned in the round pen... made me feel like I was running around trying to get out and the fence was there.. too high to jump and no Momma to give me guidance!
No one will be doing that to me again. He took his dang fence with him.
