I am grateful for my 56 days sober and for the fact that I am still going strong. My sobriety has brought me many things. Things I had forgotten to care about. I have a new and better understanding of the person that I am. I am finding the old, happy me. The me who can put in a good days work, who can joke around with my husband, and get through the day without picking up a drink. My sobriety has also brought me back to my children. And grandchildren. I now have a new grandson. David Baxter was born June 13. My granddaughter, Elizabeth Marley, is 2 years 9 months. Thank you for letting me share.
