Rae, file small claims paperwork now. Get a judgment against him now to put a lien on the money he's getting, otherwise you may enver see nothing. Also, if he was cracked out when he signed, he could ahve a defense as to not knowing what he was signing,Id try anyway.

(Oh and if the notary is your family or friend, that could be another obstacle.)
