Oh yeah, and no more hiding the sites I am going to on my computer, or having him suspicious of what I talked to friends about, or having to sit around and listen to his anxiety about his problems when I have tons of my own, or having him say he goes out because he is uncomfortable in my apartment, or having him say he hates the dvds I chose or sleeping with the stupid noisy fan on,,,
I also had to let go of his family -- I really enjoyed his mom and dad, and the ongoing potential that I would actually have a companion to help share the load of life, and that he would help fix my car,(despite being really good with cars) or cook dinner (despite being a really good cook and enjoying it) or help pay off the credit card debt (incurred by him)...so many things had to be let go of...
