I do feel that way... his increased irresponsibility led to my increased responsibility -- took on too much -- resulted in too much control. And, I know I am controlling to begin with, so this was a pitfall I fell into easily.
I am very thin-skinned and hate feeling like I am some wretched control monger! As he gets better and stays sober, I need to learn to throttle back on that.
