This is a link to lifetime tv regarding the breast cancer patient protection act. It is a petition to Congress to allow a woman and her doctor to be able make the decision for her to stay in the hospital for at least 48 hours or whether she has adequate care at home after a mastectomy. Sometimes women are forced to leave the hospital just hours after the surgery due to their insurance not allowing for the extended stay.
