Ooooh boy, you are gonna LOVE it! I went last Fall and it was the most amazing trip ever! Do not stay out of the coffee shops in Amsterdam! Go in! You won't believe it. I went in a few - I didn't do anything but I did go in!! Amsterdam is BEAUTIFUL! Go to the Van Gogh Museum and the Heineken Experience too - both are "musts". The Heineken Experience is SO much fun, it's very well-done, very interesting, and even has special hands-on things to do, and RIDES, etc., etc., - it isn't expensive and you even get 3 drinks (can be cokes, it doesn't have to be beer!) and a special gift at the end. I will go again when I go back, and I don't drink beer. And go right across the street to the giant chess set on the sidewalk, and the Hard Rock Cafe is right there too!
Oh shoot- it looks like you might be GONE ALREADY!! You might not see this until you RETURN.
