14 days is good. In the scheme of things, it takes some time to get you more accustomed to being sober.
I have relatively strong cravings after almost a year. They are less intense and in the early days eating candy helped a lot.
Even though I still have strong cravings they largely have not subsided as I had ben promised, what has changed is that I have much greater confidence in dealing with them.
This is a new skill like riding a bike or painting a portrait. you may not get it right the first time.
