I just finished icing 24 cupcakes for the Halloween fundraiser bake sale tomorrow. Can I tell you all how much I hate cupcake icing? Does anyone have a recipe for cupcake icing that does not taste like pure sugar paste?? Ugh. I'm queasy from sampling the icing to make sure it was edible (added some orange flavouring - it helped some, but still waaay too sweet.
Are everyone else's kids as wired as mine are tonight?? It's like they've already eaten their Halloween candy and they don't even go trick or treating until tomorrow!! Man - it's like the most exciting day of the year for them, it seems.
