Jail Time?
Ok gang, here it is.
As some of you know, I had served the wife with divorce papers and did not really hear much after that from her.
Well the call came in and it was a winner. She had asked about something in the papers on what she had to send in. Then she told me what had just happened to her.
Within one week, 2 DUI’s and with a controlled substance, and she totaled her car by running it into a building.
She said she was not asking for help, in fact she knows she is going to jail, she said not to worry about the papers, she wants nothing.
She knows she screwed up, and she said it.
She said I seem to be in order, under control, and have my life together.
I told her it was the program, and with out it I would have been lost.
I said “I only have a number for you, but you must call it yourself.”
She said she would, and I gave her a number of a woman who has been where she is now, a good AA sponsor.
So the story goes on.
