My experience with Judges in Canada is that they don't care if it is AA, counselling, family interventions, or whatever, so long as you are able to demonstrate that you ARE doing something about your situation. They are very open to any forms of treatment if you are involved with them... explain to the court what it is, how you participate and what you find helpful... the judge will credit it you for it IMO.
