I went to the gym and now I am drinking green tea.

I need to put my summer clothes up and bring out my fall & winter clothes.

Our temps are so mild that I have access to my entire wardrobe year round (lucky to have multiple closets) but I still switch out the winter and summer clothes.

Quickly approaching 60 day mark to retirement AND on Sunday the 13th will have 33 years of sobriety--all the credit goes to God. (I just do the footwork, He takes care of the miracles.)

Thanks MW. I'm most grateful to be living a life I never dreamed would be possible for me. With God all things are possible.

MW, glad to hear you had a wonderful trip.

No pain, just some discomfort. Not limping as much. I really need to do the stretching exercises every day--not every couple of days.

Ringo- I imagine stretching is the best thing for it.

I had a busy day. Swim class and I made a good dinner.

MW, since it's just you and I this week (smile), I've been a little down lately--comes and goes--not prolonged. My food is not as clean as it could be which always affects my mood, if not my waistline. I always ask the higher power what am I to learn from whatever is going. Cuz if I don't learn the lesson and change the behavior, then I'll keep getting 'the situation'.

What I think the lesson is that I don't handle change very well and I tend to 'run the show'. Of course things don't go my way which leads to unhealthy reactions which then lead to a little depression.

Time to get off this merry go round!

Ringo-I think I hear what you are saying. It is hard to lose control over things we normally do control. (Even if we don't control anything HP does. *smiles*)

Change definitely is hard....I even think good change is hard. lol.

I am glad you are exploring what is going on and learning from it.

MW, yes, you are so right! Good change is hard too--but worth it. I have this sign on a cork board at work:

"It is God who does the transforming, but only to the extent that we cooperate."

After the gym I went and got a hair cut and eye brow wax.

I must have been in the mood for pain. just kidding...it wasn't too bad.

Ringo, yes, change is hard, even good change is hard. I'm a recovering control-freak and it's something I work on all the time.

Midwest, it sounds like you're on-track, as always.

I went out trick-or-treating with the grandkids tonight and it was so much fun. It was a little bit rainy, but warm. I think this is the last year they will be going out with parents & grandparents and next year it will be with friends. Sigh...

Hi Anna, good to see you!

And MW, always good to "chat" with you.

It's late Friday afternoon and I'm one tired gal. Busy but wonderful week. Leaving a pile of work for Monday morning. Weekend, here I come!

Anna- it was cold here both nights of trick or treating. That is great you spent that time with the grandkids. They grow up so quick!

Ringo- I hope you enjoy the weekend!!

Yesterday I meal prepped. That felt great. I was surprised how good that feels to be prepared for the week and to have some healthy choices on hand.
