Exercise-class again;
and I have bought some Rose Lemonade as a St Valentine's Day treat.
(It's sparkling, the most beautiful palest pink colour, and with a true rose aroma. Delicious, cold in a special glass.)

Caramel, I'm glad you enjoyed your exercise class. I've been doing something similar for a couple of years and love it.

Midwest, I love that you remember to rest. That's a big one for me, too.

Ringo, I'm glad you're adjusting to retirement. Creating new routines AND being spontaneous is great! I had been working part-time for awhile before I retired and that helped the transition for me.

I just made some blueberry muffins with cinnamon topping and I'm sitting here enjoying the aroma while they bake. I will have a cup of tea when the muffins are ready and then head out for a walk before the cold front hits us full force.

^ I can picture those muffins, Anna - I bet they'll be just the thing with a cup of tea on a cold day!

Midwest, are you reading something good right now? I'm in a bit of a slump at the moment, as far as finding good books to read.

It's SO cold here today, so I allowed myself an extra half-hour to snuggle in bed this morning, which is something I never do.

Happy Valentine's Day, to you wonderful ladies.

Anna- I am reading "come home to me" by Jessica Scott. It is only 152 pages. It is about a woman who comes home from the war in Iraq and is having trouble adjusting to her family and being home. It's part of a series but can be read as a stand alone book too. I just looked up the author and she is an Iraq war veteran. It is a good book so far. It is hard to find a good book sometimes. haha. The muffins you made sound fabulous and so does the tea. I am having some chamomile right now. The sleeping in sounds amazing too. It has been extremely cold here also.

Caramel- the Rose lemonade sounds delicious!!

I actually went to the gym twice today. Step aerobics this morning and then I went back and walked 3 miles. I cleaned house and it was so cold there was nothing else to do. I did some journaling too.

Happy Valentines Day!

Have given away some big garden plant-pots that were making me feel guilty because they were unused.
I'd bought them with good intentions but the time is long past to have carried those plans out.
Now they'll be useful and decorative elsewhere.

Midwest, I'm going to check out the book you're reading. It sounds interesting. I was a military wife for 22 years, so I've known people who have gone through similar situations. Good job keeping up with your exercising.

Caramel, sometimes giving away something is a most freeing experience.

Anna- I didn't realize that! I think you may really like this author then. It really is insightful.

Caramel- it does feel good to get rid of things.

Yesterday I laid on the couch and watched tons of Netflix!! It was heavenly.

Attended church on Sunday, and today I discarded some unused and out-of-date items from my pantry.
Had a walk - very short, but it's a start.

Exercise class again - I didn't feel like it but insisted to myself that I attended and, as always, was glad I did.
