Thanks gals.

MLH, you might be familiar with the big horse competition thing in Oklahoma City. I my two eldest nieces competed in it just a week or so ago. Oh, the same wkned I was at the retreat. My sister who is an active 73 went with them to help out with the horses.

Overall taking good care of myself. Sometimes it seems like a lot of work but the payoff is so worth it.

I'm going through the steps with a new sponsor who lives one hour ahead of me. So two mornings a week I get up 3am in order to be at work by 4:45am to be ready for our 5-6am session on the phone (6-7a for her). If I do it at home, by the time I get to work I won't get a parking spot.

Doesn't matter how many times I go through the Big Book, I always learn something new!

Not too familiar Ringo. Oklahoma is a 2 day haul for us. I know they have a few barrel and reigning shows. I am more demonstrate than compete these days.

Not much to report gals. Had a good day yesterday. 80 minutes of spin yesterday, walked the dog after a delicious salmon dinner with Mr. Ringo. I just love the easy flow of my life.

MLH- that is great that everything is drying up and you can do your yard work. It is awesome to be able to get outside.

Ringo- wow that is amazing how early you wake up to talk to your sponsor. I am glad your having a easy week.

Yesterday I exercised a hour and Iíll probably do the same today. Iíll probably journal too.

Ringo, I love the easy flow of my life, too. You may love it even more when you retire. I'm amazed that you get up so early two days a week. You are so dedicated.

Midwest, I'd like to get back to journaling but I keep avoiding it. Do you save your journals when they are finished?

MLH, I'm so glad things are drying up and you are able to spend some time in your garden. I love this time of the year because it feels so full of life.

Our kitchen reno is coming along. Our cupboards are ready and they will be delivered next week. Then we will redo the counter using quartz and lastly, we will do the backspash. So far it hasn't been too disruptive.

Anna, nice going with the kitchen reno. Sounds great.

I'm up early on the weekends too, just not as early as M-F. I do look forward to no alarm a few days a week.

Anna- that is great the kitchen remodel is coming along. I am sure it is going to look great!! I actually journal on my phone with a app that requires a passcode. That way I can type anything and not worry about anyone picking it up and reading it. I think it is more about venting then anything else.

Ringo- happy Wednesday

I slept in this morning.

MW, venting is cool. Better to write it down than to say it to someone.

Today is B2W Day so I rode my bike and am helping out 7-8am at the celebration. Life is so good.

MW, it seems like I have a schedule for everything! Part of my personality, upbringing and professional life--I'm a list maker, live by the calendar (appts, exercise, meetings, etc).

I hope all had a lovely Mother's Day. My kids are four legged. One of the new kitties gave me a present. She jumped on my chair for a second to get a treat and off she went! Just the one time but I'll take it.

I leave Wednesday for a ten day vacation so you won't see much of me on SR. Hooking up to Wi-Fi and typing on a tablet is not fun for me. I much prefer a keyboard, desk top type of computer.

Have a great day all.

Have fun exercising Midwest. It was 6 Celsius and rainy today. I ate carbs because of it lol. Well I ate carbs because they taste good.
Anna the kitchen Reno sounds so nice! Quartz is so nice! I want the recycled glass someday.
Ringo have a great trip!

I have nothing going on. Literally nothing. Deciding on this season's barn shirts. I want to do button ups, but we'll probably end up with golf shirts! Dh is really pulling for flannel print lol.

Long weekend here, first BBQ of the season - party BBQ at a friends place. (I bbq'd burgers last weekend) I also had a drinking dream - it bugged me, was talking to dh about it. He said that is why you woke up so easy when I kissed you goodbye.

Off to google what is hot in potluck dishes for 2019 LOL

Excuse to get new pyrex!

MLH, enjoy your BBQ party. It looks like a beautiful holiday weekend, so that means lots of walks and lots of ice cream. We have two new stores in the hood that we haven't tried yet.

Ringo, I hope you are chilling and enjoying your vacation.

Midwest, I'd be lost without carbs, too.

Ringo- I miss your updates! I hope you are having fun.

MLH- I love pyrex. I always look for it when I go to the thrift store. Let us know what you decide to make. I pan on doing key lime pie and macaroni salad.

Anna- I hope you enjoy the holiday.

I exercised yesterday and I plan on doing yard work today.
