I was at a lost, hurt, angry and lonely place in my life when one day I was surfing the internet for a Naranon meeting or any info I could possibly find regarding addiction when I came upon this wonderful website: soberrecovery.com. It was such a relief knowing I was not alone. This site is where I learned the road to recovery and one of the reasons why I am where I am today.There is life and joy after all the hurdles we have to sometimes jump. I learned so much from so many people through the many forums that take place, from Naranon, Spirtual, NA, Beginners, ACOA, etc etc etc....

Today my husband is still active in his addiction. Our life is at a more calm stage right now mainly because I have learned how to detach.
