I was stuck.
 

When I found Sober Recovery I was at a very low point. While I wasn't addicted to any substance I was addicted to people. My relationship with my family was poisonous. I was the go to person in my teens and young adult life. Come to me with all your problems. "Your dad did..." "Your mom said..." "Your uncle does..." "Your sister does..."

I was the sounding board for everyone. I did not have an outlet.

I was in an abusive and codependent romantic relationship.

But now. I am living life. I have healthy relationships with my family and others. I removed the abusive person from my life and I am happily married.

This place was so much of a help. I'm so glad I found it.
