Day 14
 

I can't believe that it is day 14 for me.

It scares me that this has been as easy as it has. I had night sweats and insomnia for a few days, but that's about it. No shakiness, nausea or anything else. I drank 1.5 - 2 bottles of wine a day and a glass of bourbon in the middle of the night - to help me get back to sleep. and sometimes I also added a beer or two.

I had alcohol poisoning on the day I got sober. Nothing like dry heaves for over 14 hrs. to make you get sober!

Wondering if anyone else had a fairly easy time of getting sober.

Congrats on 14 days👏 No major medical issues (like a seizure) for me when I stopped but I know I felt pretty edgy/anxious for a few weeks, which was made worse by having to deal with a few personal problems. If there’s a next time, though, I might not be so lucky. Day 79 for me😀
