SR was a small community of about 800 people when I joined.
It saved my life.
I was a crazy out of control co-dependent to an abusive alcoholic soulmate and feared I had no bottom.
I moved a 1000 miles to protect myself from me, so I couldn't see him.
Had a few more bumpy relationships, not uncommon, but I grew stronger and had info and support here.
I developed a serious mental illness.
I fully understand why we don't give medical advice here because I was scared and swayed not to take medications I needed because they were problems for others.
This is a magnificent site for those who have dependence or addiction problems and I have seen many miracles.
I am fond of many here.
But with successful treatment and a loving partner and so much distance in time from what brought me here, my needs have changed.
I'd just like to say hi and thanks.
