I was trying to find a app for my phone that would let me chat with other ppl in recovery. It was surprising that there was not much then I seen the sober recovery app and downloaded it. I have been on the app and site since.

Thanks! A lot of good reads on here. Hope to meet some like minded ppl to kick this diseases butt! I finally came to terms that I have a incurable disease(after 3 relapses) that is addiction and wants me dead!! I'm not going to lie it was a long and lonely road. I'm just glad I have gotten another shot at recovery. A lot of ppl dont .At the end of my last run that's all I would think about was dying in active addiction. Full of shame ,guilt , probably in somebodys bathroom that doesn't even care about me. I hate this disease.

Thanks . this site has already helped my out in a few areas that I was having probs with. I feel the more stuff I keep putting out there and the more I keep reading it back, the easier it is for me to share in a "live" group.
