Welcome! The Newcomers to Recovery thread is a great place to start and you can hang out there forever. There are other, more specialized threads that you can get from the forum's home page. If you are looking for something specific, just ask and people will help you out.

You basically just read, post, or respond as you like. If you need help with those, again, just ask.

Are you new to recovery from alcoholism?

No, ten years in. But it's important I don't forget or become complacent. I also hope that some of my input may be of help to others.

The most active forum for people new here is the Newcomers forum here. More people will see your posts there and you will find plenty to read there - it is very active. Just hop in and post away. We are always happy to learn from other's experience.

There is also a special thread just for alcoholism, a thread for 12-step support, and a secular connections thread.

I can never....

I can never understand why thing sort of thing happens, here we have SRC, a wonderful site full of help support from all over the place with people from various backgrounds all joining together with a common goal and purpose...

All supported by an eclectic mix of forums covering a wonderfully broad and diverse spectrum in a wide area of relevant areas...

Then suddenly, not from a Newcomer to Recovery, someone with apparently 10 years sobriety under their belt, thinks it's a it's a good idea to start posting things on Google...???

I'm sorry the sheer ability to think cognitively , (truth and reason) with any form of credibility is a joke...

Can someone now provide me with a credible explanation for this, perhaps the person originally responsible for posting this thread...I don't think that's to much to ask...

Oh,I get it....Doh!

You do a google search to find SRC, and then it all falls into place from there...

Great! Hope you find all the help and support you're looking for....

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but in sobriety I'm still learning to live with the ongoing experience of my own stupidity....
