Where was I
Over the years I have been to AA meetings in my town (very rural; pop 2000).
I was a State Parole Officer who had sent probably 75-100 people to prison
locally. When I would attend the meetings, parolees would be there that I had
required to attend but they did not want to be there. I did not like talking about
my substance abuse and feelings when they were there. Where am I now?
I was drinking a liter of vodka every few days. My last drink was this Feb 14. I was very happy to find this site. I'm still learning to navigate around. Also writing relaxes me and I love to tell of my experiences and read experiences of others.
