I found this site in 2010 started reading but soon crawled back into my bottle.
Over 2 1/2 years later I'm back.

Right now I am as close to the bottom as I can bare. Still have a roof over my head and a job that is willing to help me thru this. Outside of that almost everything is gone, new car being repo'd soon, bank account is flat all cards are maxed and a year past due. Only a few friends still keep in touch. Least 1 that is most important to me is still here supporting me every day to get better. Saying things like "You are usually in a bad mood drinking, today your happy and working on stuff here, you dont have anything to hide from"

My health has really gone, its sad that only a week of not drinking some people have said you look a bit more alive this week. Ugh right now I have such an urge to just get me a little bottle, I know thats how it slowly gets back to a big problem. Dont think I can go thru detox again it was wicked scary last weekend.

Back and forth we sometimes go. This site is a good place to find stability, when either up or down. Keep it in mind as you proceed. Peace to you.

One day at a time. You can do it. Just keep in mined that you don't want to go thru detox again. If I can do it so can you . I got 53 days today. Hang in there it does get better.
