Me too. Living sober is not only possible, it's wonderful. Welcome to the family.

Me too. I was OUT OF CONTROL! Welcome and all the very best.

Funnily enough...

Funnily enough in 30yrs of drinking and just over 3yrs of sobriety, the cry,"I'm sick and tired of beingsick and tired", resonates most consistently from the mouths of alcoholics I've known, including myself.
Thestrange thing is,once we admit defeat, WE WIN! For now construction of a new life, lived in sobriety can begin, and the penultimate paragraph on page 164 of 'the Big Book' never rang so true, so welcome and may the god of your understanding speed your journey in recovery.

Hi CFP....my first post was titled "sick and tired." Wine was my love also and I was downing 2-3 bottles a nite. I'm three months sober and life is good. I felt like I turned a corner this weekend where I can finally imagine a life without alcohol....a really good life.

We are all on this road with you and my very best wishes go out to you.

Awesome cfp, day 8 is great! Feeling so much better every day. My work outs are actually work outs and not pittling around in the gym. Lets keep it up!
