I came across this anonymous quote today, not only did it put, what I have to believe was the spiritual or psychic experience, there being no other plausible explanation for it. That relieved me of my alcoholism, into perspective.

I think it has a meaning that can be shared by all here in recovery. Just as I'm certain that, the god of my understanding played an instrumental part in mine and many others recovery.

I suspect the following thought lies at the core of all those of that perspective...

"If I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes, only then would you realize how special you are to me ...'

It certainly wasn't in my mind at the time...
