Happy Birthday Sober Recovery!
Happy Birthday to SR and thanks to The Mulligan Group!
I can honestly say that SR has been a major part of my recovery and without it and the friends I've made here, I don't know that I would be where I am today. Happy and alcohol free .

SR! I came here to SR seeking answers about the A's in my life
and what I did seek was answers about myself!
I have gained many many friends that I'am so blessed to have in my life
today! Thank you all for being a part of my life/recovery and all the people that keep
this place up and running you are truly amazing,
THANK YOU

If you check my profile you will see I became a member of SR January 25, 2008 and my sobriety date is January 26, 2008. There is nothing more I can say about the impact of SR on my life. You all saved my life.
Happy birthday SR.
Happy birthday SR.
I have been around SR for a long time. As Carol would remember it started small, everyone knew everyone. This place saved my behind a few times over the years.
And as Carol said, it is a great addition to my f2f meetings and recovery support.
I found SR when I had just lost a friend, a person who had been instrumental in my staying clean in early recovery. He had relapsed and died driving drunk. I was mad, lost confused and I needed more that just a few hours of f2f each day. SR was here.
I still am close today with people that I met when I got here. Most of them are not a part of SR anylonger.
A man named Jon started this site. I dont know where Jon is now (he sold it a few years ago) but I want to thank him for following his dream and starting SR for all of us.
Thanks Carol for starting this thread.

Happy Birthday to SR Community & Thank you…Mulligan Group!!!
This was my turning point and probably saved my life! I don’t post much anymore but have the link on my home page and read almost daily. So many new people on board since I joined & my first post on June 2nd 2008. It shows how many people are searching for recovery. I no longer obsess over drinking and going to bars.
Thanks to everyone here @ SR!
