25 years later, still one day at a time

I am grateful for my recovery. But, life happens!
I found this site while researching sobriety and recovery sites. I have been sober for over 25 years and I've been working for the past year in rehabs and detox facilities. So, I was bombarded with AA and 12 step stuff. I loved working with the patients but I was getting burned out. I had problems dealing with the people who kept returning. I know it's a disease and it's all part of it.
Anyway, I've taken courses and I submitted my application for licensing when I lost my job because of a huge misunderstanding. I'm ok with that because I realize that my higher power probably did for me what I didn't do for myself. My problem is if I continue to pursue working in the field or do something else.
I have started my own sobriety site and still work the program for myself because I know I need to do so. But, the injustice of the "system" still aggravates me.
Thanks for letting me vent.
