I found this place today. I'm 24 and I've been struggling with alcoholism for 8 years. In the last 5 years I was at my worst. It was sucking my money, my time, and my soul. As of today I have been basically sober for 7 months, I have relapsed a few times, a night here or there, and had a particularly nasty one recently. This one struck me in a way none of the other times had, and my resolve is set to start over. Up to today, I have not turned to anyone for help. But I realized tonight, I cannot do it completely alone. So I searched and found this place. I've been here less than an an hour, and already I feel supported, stronger and more capable.

So I guess that's were I am, now that I'm here.
