I was sitting at work, bored, thinking about the holidays...
and about how difficult it is not have a real family to spend the holidays with.
Then my brain just sort of snapped and I felt I needed some support.
I'm very good at withholding any sort of emotion, so I didn't get sad at work, but when I got home I nearly fell apart.
I really need this support.

Gracie, I use this site while I'm working as an addition to my 12 Step program.
Every day when I leave my office I head straight for an AA meeting, where my "family" is there to support me. Over the holidays I could count on over 200 people to share them with me, and it was nothing short of perfect.
