Yes, I also do but I have attended many NA meetings. I go every once in awhile but not very often. I went Sunday to a conference in Tempe AZ but for the most part I love coming on this site. My mother was an recoverying alcholic for 28 years and went to 3 AA meetings. So she was very successfull without 12 steps. But I like the fellowship of the meetings. I have met many people throught the meetings. I just use inspiration steps and reading and all kinds of other stuff. I also have hard days dont get me wrong. I have been drug free since 1-05 . Alcohol free since 2-06. So I still have some work to do. But I love the alternative to 12 steps.

Define recovery....

The nearest I can get is recovery as in getting over the events of last year - and some older stuff!!

Right now SR is the only thing I do that's addiction related, but I still have strong support from friends and read lots (though these days more about philosophy and some 'brain science stuff'.)

I do, but I also do a lot of reading on my own, exercise, etc., which all contribute to my recovery.
