Once Upon A Time
There was a family.
And there was love within this family unit.
And people were happy, and felt safe there.
Alas and alack, personal agendas became more important than the love that bound these family members together.
And darkness ensued.
And the family members who once felt safe and loved, felt like the agendas of those who needed to feel omnipotent were more important than their feelings.
Which is a sad thing.
So those people became distant.
And the family fell apart.
And a house that was built on love and light became a place that was
dim and full of shadows.
Sometimes stories that start out well don't have a happy ending.
Shame about that and all.
Recovery is about healing and making things better.
So let's hope there is a happy ending for the family.
They live in a house that was built on principles of love and faith.
As the old saying goes..."for want of a nail...a kingdom was lost."
There is always a nail around.
And a family to re-build the house that fell into disrepair.
One day at a time.
Because...at some point...it is
very, very, very, very, very, very,
nice to be home.
As in "A Book Report On Peter Rabbit"...
or a mention by Smoke...
