Drowning In Lake Me
I heard this phrase today and I liked it.
Pardon me if it’s old, I’m not up on the trendy lingo of the day.
But it works for me.
Drowning in Lake Me.
It’s what we do when we allow ourselves to become wrapped up in our misery and pain.
When we don’t branch out and invest in something other than our own troubles.
Yeah, we all have pain and we all have hardship.
But I think the best thing we can do when we get to that place is to reach out of ourselves and invest in the life that exists around us.
It’s beautiful out there, you know?
When you decide to take a step in the positive direction.
There is a lot more to life than dwelling on our difficulties.
It’s our choice.
Drown in Lake Me, or get on with the business of living in the light.

wow Gabe..this was good. You know, and I mean this. I always look around. I am very aware of not just the beauty and those things waiting for me to notice and grab...I also take time, to think of those that are far worse off than I. Because many are. Many would love to have my life. (strange as that sounds)...
Thanks for reminding me about drowning in Lake me. I choose to swim in Lake me. This was really cool..
((hugs))

HA, that is good na, I do both too. Guess it's time to try to figure out how to get out of myself... It isnt an easy thing to do, but doable.
