Perfect day

Ok

Here is an exercise for those interested.

The perfect day

Imagine you have a blank cheque/check. For one day you can have anything, be anything, do anything with anyone. Absolutely anything. This is your perfect day.

Would you sleep with Julia Roberts, George Clooney? or both? Where would you be? Would you be working? What type of work do you do?

Lots of detail and imagine your hearts desires. Close the thread, and take your time putting together your perfect day.

I will write what you are supposed to learn from this at the very bottom of this post. If you read the answer below before doing the exercise you will not be able to do it properly. You'll ruin it for yourself. Once you know why your doing this it will change how you approach it so stop and do it now.

read backwards

Have to supposed your think you goals the not and goals true your represent may this

Andy,

a perfect day is a N/W wind blowing at 10 to 15 knotts on a sail boat no clouds 80's temp low humidity and no time limit

Or just for the day, have all my kids home at once My son's been at sea in the Persian Gulf for the past 6 months I haven't seen him in a year and a half. haven't seen my other daughter or grand daughters in over 5 months.

HE11 any day sober is a perfect day.

Don't have to have money, I just want to be happy and my family and friends be happy as well. That's all that matters

Andy,

My perfect day is a bright clear crisp morning, getting out of a warm comfortable bed and having a cooked breakfast. Then a good hard hike up into the mountains alone with my thoughts. Back to sea level and a great evening at a superb restaurant with my family. Bed, food, mountains, family.....heaven on earth.

Oh goodie, my true goals are the goals I think I have.
The moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter is aligned with Mars.
Can't post about my perfect day because parts of it are not rated PG-13.
I can only say that it involves a plane ticket, a certain someone and the beach.

My perfect day would be any day, rain or shine, that my son would call and tell me that he was back in recovery and trying once again to get clean and stay clean.

Not very imaginative, but it's my honest answer. I can't think of any day more perfect than that.

Hugs

Not as much as I'm looking forward to telling you about it.

Faith and prayers, that's what it's all about.

Ok, I am in the mood to daydream. My perfect day, just for me, would be floating down a cannel on my own barge through interesting landscapes and small towns. I would have a pleasant but un-intrusive crew so I would not have to do anything I didn’t choose to do. I would wave to the people I saw, listen to music or not, take photographs or not, get out of the barge and walk along the path next to the cannel as long I wanted, etc. I would have a delicious breakfast of fruit, cheese, bread and coffee on the barge but would stop at small interesting restaurants next to the cannel for lunch, pastry and coffee or tea, and for dinner alfresco. I would sleep on the barge to the gentle rocking of the water and end my day (24 hours) with a perfect sunrise.

K- My perfect day... I get up early and spend time in prayer and meditation, workout and then spend the day at a job that I love, doing challenging, meaningful work. I come home to my dogs and a special someone. We talk about our days and flirt and laugh, have dinner and watch a movie snuggled together on the couch. Later we take the dogs for a long walk in the moonlight before bed. After making love, we drift off to a peaceful, restful sleep.

*sigh*

OK, Andy. Would you elaborate on the meaning of this exercise...?

Hi Phinny

The meaning is at the very foot of the first post. But before you look, have you enough detail to your perfect day, ie do you know what that perfect job was?

Yeah, I do. About the job, anyway. The special someone is a bit harder to picture. - lol

I did look and... um, er... ah... I still don't get it. What's the difference between true goals vs. the ones I think I am supposed to have? I have some ideas, but I'd like to hear you thoughts.
