Where does the city plow all the accumulated snow to CK? I know in Philadelphia, they used to just plow it into the river until they realized that they were killing fish with all the salt.

Star, trucks dump it in vacant lots owned by the city far from any water source, mostly ancient quarries.
They literally create a mountain using huge heavy snow blowers.

Wow CK, those images are incredible! I think we're a little spoiled in Phoenix. I lived in Boston for a few years and remember them dumping the excessive snow into the Charles River.
Busy weekend ahead, volunteering for produce distribution, working another Super Bowl shift, and then a food truck festival. Looking forward to visiting my brothers for a pizza dinner tonight though.
OK, time to enjoy some more Costa Rican coffee!

Trust me, my job isn't all that glamorous or interesting at times. For Super Bowl I may be a ticket taker, but that has its benefits, I'll be warm inside a climate controlled tent. Most likely not watching the game though.
I ate healthy this morning. Chia seeds, blueberries, and milk, black coffee. Gotta fuel up for lifting boxes of fruit & veggies! Have a great weekend y'all

Awake at 4:55 AM. There is nothing better than waking up with a kitty under the blanket next to you. A dog would be nice also but I love the cat.
Happy Birthday Chloe! You deserve breakfast in bed. A nice quiche, bacon, sausage and fresh fruit?
I’m taking Gdaughter to the movie theater this afternoon. We only have 1 now after the pandemic. Popcorn…should hold her interest. Her first real movie out. I hope she likes the big screen as much as I do.
