SR are having technical issues since two or three days.
It can take forever before pages load.
It's a SR script problem, not your tablet Imvalentine
Dee and Anna are aware of this and techs are working on it.

********

Take care friends ☼

Thanks CK. I was wondering why things are moving so slowly. I always blame my ancient computer.

Have a good day all!

Up at 2:30 (yup...)
I now know my ending date : September 17 - that is Friday next week.
Even if it shouldn't be a surprise, I'm all messed up inside...the fear of unknown I guess
At least I'll be ok financially, an important point to start with

Have a good day Earlies ☼

Have a great day, early risers. I've been waking up at like 4-5 am lately. Sometimes I can get back to sleep, sometimes not. I have another tests on my back before I can get my actual ablation. It'll probably be 2-4 weeks. The waiting, esp when you're in pain is tough.
My mom's ankle seems to be doing a lot better. It's bruised but she said the second fall didn't really hurt. Dear God, I hope she gets past it quickly. I know she is really trying and I appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. 💌💖💫
Have a lovely day! Always sending you all good thoughts!

I’m finally back after deleting chrome and reinstalling it. Then I saw where everyone was having problems. I’m way out of the loop now.

It is good to be here again.

A good Thursday to everyone.

Aly, so sorry each day is such a struggle for you. At least you are facing each day sober, which helps immensely. Drinking never made my life any easier.

You are retiring just in time for the upcoming hockey season CK. I hope you have some new interests and hobbies that you intend to pursue in the coming months. I know boredom was one of many reasons I drank back in the day.

Hiya Imvalentine!

Went to bed at 1:00am and up before seven. Another late night ahead.

Have a good day all!

Up at 3:30 AM to drive DIL to the ER for withdrawal medication again. She’s lucky she got in as our hospital is overwhelmed with Covid19. Our schools now have mandated masks thankfully but a little late in my opinion.

You will find something that inspires you ck!

Happy Friday to everyone.

Thank you, Dear SG. I had my other test shot yesterday. It won't last that long until the ablation, but I was amazed at how much better I felt today. Depression has insidious ways of getting into our psyche and through pain is one. I'll take today!
Have a wonderful day all. Love and peace to my friends here! ☮💫

Up at 4 after a wonderful good night of sleep.

I missed some part of your story Aly, what is that "ablation" coming up?
I don't like the word ablation at all
(Except for my hair and nails once in awhile lol)
You are in pain often and that is difficult but I like that you can stay positive - hang on!

Covid is still going strong in the USA? In Wyoming at least?
We're at a bit more than 80% of the population with two vaccines in here, I think it helps.

Thanks for the good words Star and yes, Go Habs Go!

Have a good day friends ☼

Oh, CK, how kind of you and . Ablation is, from what I know, is when they burn the nerves that are causing problems and I think it takes 7 mos or so to grow back, probably shorter. Some people have problems with them, but I'm not getting them on my legs, etc and I think only 2 shots, but these shots are doozies! Wow! I just make jokes and talk to the girls who always play what ever music I want. I asked them if people cried and got hysterical. They said, oh my, yes! So maybe they like someone who can take it with Gallows Humor sometimes is a nice change, I'd like to think so. As a health care person in that field, seems you'd rather not see people cry. They really do their best and I so respect this doctor and the people working with him.
Thank you Mags. You made my day, now that you know everything about ablation that you never wanted to know! Thank you for being such a good friend to me. All of my good friends have a wonderful day and take care of yourselves.

I’m a double poster today.

Wyoming has a dismal 39% vaccinated rate. Not good.

I looked up ablation and it looks scary Aly. Take care of yourself!

I received a new job offer with less hours and more money. I am less stressed now for sure.

A good start of the weekend evening everyone.

Thank you for the news, Valentine! I haven't even looked it up yet because I didn't think I'd like it. I know there can be potential problems and finding a good vascular surgeon is very difficult, even around here.
I had better face up and read what I'm getting into.

Knowledge always helps to take away fear Aly, and least so for me.

CK, I think the US is just around 54% vaccinated. Science has been politicized in this country, and folks continue to die needless deaths as a result.

Congrats on the new job Imvalentine. The last one did indeed sound toxic.

Have a good day all!

I slept like a log for 9 hours straight. The critters were not happy with that at all. Jays communicate very loudly when unhappy.

Hanging out at home all day catching up on routine housework.

A good Saturday to all.

Up at 4, a very nice day in here today.
I'll use the Weber charcoal grill to make the best BBQ chicken wings of the world (really!)

Glad for you Imvalentine, it sounds a lot better in there.
As Star says, the other job seemed to be in a toxic environment.

Vascular surgeons are not easy to find in Canada too Aly.
I met one for a leg checkup a few years ago and his agenda was full three months ahead.
Good luck in your quest, crossing fingers for you!

Have a good day friends ☼

The only thing I'm thinking, if it comes to that, UCSF, one of the best teaching hospitals in they country. I would hope they'd have one there. At least they're aren't doing my legs, but I say a poor woman who'd had it done on her legs and I felt so badly for her. I hope she gets it resolved.
I'm to afraid to look up ablation now. I will eventually. I always look up my procedures, but I do really trust this guy. He's kind of a gem. No one else I know does what he does.
Congrats Valentine on the new position!
CK, always so good to hear from you. You have such a sweet disposition.
SG, have a great day. A work day for you, pretty sure. Hope it goes well.
Take care all.

Up at 4:30 against my will for work. Definitely could have slept in a little more transitioning from night shift to day shift.

Best wishes for a good day all!

Up at 3:30, insomnia - very nervous before my last week...

I couldn't go through these "swing shifts" anymore Star.
I did a lot of them when I was younger and even then it was hard like hell (alcohol and drugs didn't help)

Where is UCSF teaching hospital located Aly?
None in SF if I understand well (?)
Hang on, be the thoroughbred horse in your nickname

Have a good day Earlies ☼

Up at 6:15 AM. The phone alarm went off at 5:00. The critters are happy I didn’t have another sleep in.
Household chores again today. Now that I have another week before work I cannot procrastinate. If I was paid for that I’d be rich.

We get a reprieve from the heat with only 78 degrees forecast. It was 96 Friday!

Have a good Sunday everyone.

Awww, CK. You are so kind. It stands for University of California, San Francico. A top medical facility in this area. Medicare had a little girl with terrible pain issues and they sent her there. It's really hard to get into and just an excellent hospital. I just read they were doing work with back pain, but I am sure hoping I won't have to have another surgery! Too old for those anymore. Any age it...
Thank you again. Love and peace to you all and thank you for your friendship!
