Thanks for the new chapter monsieur Dee

Up at 5:25 and ready to get my Covid shot today.
There is four approved vaccines in Canada : Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
I don't trust very much the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines...but I'll take whatever they give.
We can't choose which vaccine we would prefer, no options here...

Have a good day Earlies! ☼

6:30ish AM

star my appointment for the shot was cancelled by the health department. I’m not old enough or sick enough to qualify. Our Governor has lifted all restrictions starting 3/16 just in time for our over supply of bars to celebrate St Patrick’s day. I feel a touch of resentment. 3 people tested positive at the restaurant my daughter works in. On and on it goes.

The snow is beautiful and piling up fast. It is a whopper!

Stay safe and well everyone.

Enjoy the snow Imvalentine!

Like you CK, I would probably take any shot offered. I have not been following closely, but there seems to be some controversy with the AZ shot in Europe. It's been a year of mask wearing and Covid restrictions at my job.

Up at 2:30 am for work. Got five hours of sleep last night on top of yesterday's two and a half. Time changes are not my friend.

Have a good day all!

I know its hard but please try and stay outa politics guys.
We want to foster a unity of purpose here and politics always seems to work against that.

It's become necessary to tighten the rule back to the letter of rule 2.

2. Outside Agendas: No posts of an overtly political or religious nature OR posts promoting advocacy of particular personal, medical, legal, religious, political, or non-profit causes. The forums are intended for offering mutual personal support related to recovery from addiction or recovery for family and friends. This is our primary purpose. Debating controversial subjects should be taken elsewhere...

No politics at all on the board, please,

Another sleep in for me at 7:30. The time change struck. Took a nap yesterday which did not help and was up till midnight.

Sorry for overstepping the rules. I also will take any vaccine I can get poked with!

Last time I checked we had 30 inches of snow. It wound down last night and our power never went out thankfully.
I am content to be snowed in.

Happy Monday to everyone.

Up about 6:30 AM. No nap and stayed up late.

Maybe today I will get plowed out maybe not. Side streets are understandably last on the list. Son broke the snow shovel digging his car out to go nowhere anyway.

I used your method of throwing bird seed on top of the snow piles star. Squirrels opened the suet holder and drug them out. They are crafty with full stomachs.

A good Tuesday to all.

That's a lot of snow Imvalentine! Is your state like Colorado, where it can go to 65 degrees a couple days later and melt everything. I hope you get dug out.

Body finally shut down and I slept ten hours over the course of the night, despite being up and down several times. Still feel tired, lol.

Have a good day all!

Wow wow wow I'm Valentine, that was a major snow storm!
When is spring where you live? (smiling)

Up at 4 after a "busy" night trying to fix things in my dreams.
I had bad news at work and I have to "digest" them.
It will surely be better tonight and maybe I will get a 10 hours break like you Star

Have a good day folks ☼

6:38am....I’m usually up at 4am to be at work by 5:15am....Less traffic this early which means less stress when I get to work...

Feelin ok this morning but some days are pretty challenging since I’m still in early recovery (76 days).

I have had a lot of long commutes over my lifetime, and I always prefer to get up early and get to work ahead of the biggest crush of traffic. I hate arriving at work all stressed out from the drive in.

Got my taxes done yesterday, and a small amount of laundry and shopping.

Been in a couple week funk that I can't seem to shake, but thankfully isn't getting worse. Hopefully I can ride it out as per usual.

Did you dig out yesterday Imvalentine?

Take care all!

Up around 6:30 AM. Went to sleep finally after midnight. I’m turning into a night owl. Sleeping schedule will work itself out. Time change and blizzards don’t mix.

A plow went down the street around 9:00 last night. Hoping the snow removal guys can make it over now. I just need the driveway done. I have a replacement snow shovel on hold at Home Depot so my son can pick it up and he may beat the guys. I’m lucky I have no outside world responsibilities. Temps up to 49 by Friday!

Hope you perk up star. The winter blues are hard to shake and your schedule doesn’t help.

A safe and good Wednesday to all.

I had another sleep in. I don’t remember turning the alarm off at 5. Still adapting to the time change and staying up past my normal bedtime.

We are dug out and free! Daycare is still closed so I’m hanging out with Gdaughter today.

A good Thursday to everyone.

Pouring rain today. I guess this is the remnants of your storm Imvalentine. Glad you are dug out!

Got almost nine hours of up and down sleep last night. I am stocking up ahead of the work week starting this afternoon.

Have a good day all!

4:30 AM

Still stayed up till almost midnight. No nap and an early bedtime planned. I’m determined to get over the time change issue.

Hanging out with Gdaughter today as daycare is still closed along with regular school. A lot of the streets are one snow lane.

Hope your Monday goes well star and Happy Friday to everyone.
